Requests to create 2 or 3 parcels shall be subject to the partition provisions of this land use code and shall follow a Type II application procedure, except that partition applications that meet the approval criteria in EC 9.8215(7) or EC 9.8220(7) may be processed pursuant to the expedited land division procedures in EC 9.7900 through EC 9.7925. A partition application that also involves a PUD request may not be submitted until a decision on the tentative PUD approval is final. (Refer to EC 9.8305 Applicability.) No development permit shall be issued by the city prior to approval of the tentative partition application.
