Requests to create four or more lots shall be subject to the subdivision provisions of this land use code and shall follow a Type II application process, except that subdivision applications that meet the approval criteria in EC 9.8515(13) or EC 9.8520(11) may be processed pursuant to the expedited land division procedures in EC 9.7900 through EC 9.7925. A subdivision application that also involves a PUD request may not be submitted until a decision on the tentative PUD approval is final. (Refer to EC 9.8305 Applicability.) No development permit shall be issued by the city prior to approval of the subdivision tentative plan application.
